Alison’s 20 Favorite Comedy Moments

At Christmas I read Mindy Kaling’s Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? and other concerns  (if you like comedy, read it!) and she had this great chapter about her favorite eleven comedy moments. It got me to thinking about my own and it has taken me six months to compile a list, and even as I type this list is ever changing as this world is full of funny moments and people.

I was going to write explanations for each but with youtube, netflix, google and everything that is readily out there to see,  I suggest just watching these moments yourself. Tell me your thoughts! If you don’t “get” any of these funny moments, then chances are we aren’t friends or shouldn’t be.

So without further adieu, and in no particular order –

Amy Poehler: Really? And really, Arizona State, you might be over-valuing the worth of your degrees. Your acceptance rate is 95 per cent. Your slightly more selective than the Burger King Kids’ Club.”
